Information for year 10s

If you're in year 10 and reading this, you're probably beginning to think about uni and which subjects to study in year 11 and 12. We know you must have a lot of questions, so this section of the site is designed to give you an idea of what uni's all about.

Why uni?

Many professional workplaces require their employees to have a university degree. This shows that you've reached a certain level of education in that field, that you're interested and that you're qualified to do the job.

Having a degree is a good investment in your future, not just professionally but personally. Just being in the university environment, you will pick up a lot of skills without even trying, like working in a team, negotiating and communicating at different levels and problem solving. On top of all this, campus life can be a lot of fun!
