Admission requirements for school leavers
To be eligible to study at Curtin, you normally need to have done the following:
- Graduated from high school
AND
- Satisfied Curtin's English competency requirement. For Western Australian school leavers, this means a score of at least 50% in TEE English or English Literature. Refer to the list of approved English qualifications [.pdf - 62kb] for all other qualifications (i.e. from interstate high school exams) that will also satisfy Curtin's English requirement
AND
In addition, many courses have limited places and so selection will be based on competition with other applicants.
There are some alternative ways for school leavers to meet the admission requirements. See Alternative ways to get in.
