Mature age applicants

students in lab

It may come as a surprise that more than half of Curtin's students are considered mature age, that is, they were 20 or older when they enrolled.

Whether you're coming to uni for the first time or you've studied in the past, you may be worried that you've slipped out of 'study mode'. But don't worry - our Learning Centre provides a range of free academic support programs to help bring you up to speed. Their Returning to Study seminar is designed specifically for mature age students.

As a mature age applicant, you have many different options for getting into Curtin. Unlike school leavers, your eligibility for admission isn't necessarily reliant on school exam results. Previous education and life experience are also considered.
