Extension studies

Extension units are provided by the University as a community service primarily for Australian residents. Extension students either attend classes with enrolled students or study by correspondence (if the unit is available externally). While extension units don't lead to a recognised qualification, students who complete two degree-level units (minimum 25 credits each unit) and meet the English competence requirements will be granted matriculation status.

If an extension student is accepted into a university course, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be granted for units completed by the extension mode.
