Master of Nursing Practice

In semester two this year Curtin will launch its Graduate Entry Master of Nursing Practice program which offers a fast-track way to change careers with completion in just two years of full-time study.

This fast-track course has been developed in response to a critical shortage of health professionals. With the increasing prevalence of chronic lifestyle and age related diseases such as diabetes, obesity and heart disease, coupled with the fact that Australians are living longer than ever before, there is enormous pressure on the health system despite the industry employing over 1,035,000 health specialists.

Strong growth in jobs is expected to continue due to the ageing population, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics projects the creation of more than 150,000 new jobs for Australia in the next five years.

To qualify for the mid year intake, all you need is a degree with a credit pass average.
