Short programs to improve your performance
Academic performance
The Learning Centre's Pathfinder Program is designed to help you make a successful transition to university life where you will learn about personal academic focus, motivation, building on strengths, defining goals, overcoming learning blocks, managing challenges, and trouble-shooting problems.
The Learning Centre also offers academic writing support programs designed to enhance the performance of both undergraduate and postgraduate students in their course of study. The PowerPlus Writing Program seminars cover sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, syntax, and writing powerful sentences for academic and professional success. The PowerPlus Essay Program seminars provide guidelines, formulae, hints, and tips for successful essays writing. Both these programs are also available online.
Computing skills
PC Champs is a program run by Curtin Volunteers and is aimed specifically at mature age students to help improve computer skills and enhance your confidence. Through the program you will receive one-to-one assistance from volunteers who are current Curtin students.
