Campus life

Curtin’s main campus in Bentley provides a range of convenient services for students. Retail stores, sport and recreation activities and the Curtin University Bookshop are a few of the amenities available at our Bentley campus. 

In addition, there are various resource and support services available to assist with your learning and help you get the most from your studies. There are also a range of health and wellbeing services to ensure you are healthy and happy during your time at Curtin.

There is always plenty of fun events happening on campus, with exciting initiatives such as pop-up food vans and our outdoor cinema are already transforming campus life. On and off campus accommodation is also available, operated by Curtin Housing Services

Locations

Curtin University is located in Perth, Western Australia at the Bentley campusYou can also study at one our international campuses in Malaysia, Singapore and Dubai. There are also opportunities available for you to study overseas as part of your degree through our student exchange and study abroad programs.

Parking and security

Getting to and from our main campus in Bentley is easy with public transport options, bicycle facilities and pay-as-you-go parking. Safety and security are a priority and no matter when you are on campus, you have 24/7 access to our security team.

Online learning resources

Curtin has multiple resources to help you keep track of your important study information while enjoying a more flexible learning environment.

Elsie

Elsie is the new app for Curtin University students. It offers a mobile portal into your Curtin life, giving you easy access to your timetable, academic calendar, unit outlines, email, exams and teaching contacts.

Blackboard

Curtin uses Blackboard, an online learning management system, to connect you to the resources and tools you need to engage with your units of study. It’s where you can find unit information, study resources, learning activities and opportunities for communication with tutors and students, which can be accessed at any time.

OASIS

Every Curtin student has access to the student portal OASIS, which contains secure and personalised services. On your OASIS homepage you’ll find student email, exam results, personal bookmarks, links to all Curtin’s facilities, library catalogues and databases, the latest campus news, timetable information and the Official Communications Channel.

iLecture

The iLecture system records lectures, workshops, tutorials and conference proceedings for available units. You can stream high-resolution video or audio files for many classes. Load the files onto your smartphone, tablet or laptop, and listen or watch at your leisure.
