Curtin Business School

Our innovative, practical teaching delivers leading edge business knowledge producing highly sought-after graduates.

Curtin Business School (CBS) is the largest of our study areas and one of the most comprehensive business teaching facilities in Australia. CBS has earned a strong international reputation as a school that has consistently educated and developed industry ready professionals for the global business community.

With over 400 staff from a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds, CBS offers the most comprehensive range of business programs in Western Australia.

CBS is made up of six discipline-based schools operating on the Bentley campus and the Graduate School of Business, located in Perth’s central business district. The schools offer specialised undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in their discipline area as well as facilitating cross-discipline opportunities.

The Graduate School of Business specialises in generalist business courses at a postgraduate level, including their highly-regarded Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Each school has an advisory board consisting of business leaders to ensure their courses remain relevant and closely aligned with the direction of their specific industry. Where relevant, courses include work placements, study tours and industry programs within an actual business environment.

The courses offered are designed, wherever possible, to conform to the membership standards of the relevant professional bodies that students are likely to become associated with after graduation.

What graduates are doing

Curtin Business School’s programs equip graduates with the skills and knowledge to pursue a variety of careers as accountants, economists, marketers and managers, in fields such as human resources, tourism, real estate and sport administration.

Research and development

CBS’s focus is on applied research that produces substantial benefits for both business and the general community and contributes to economic growth and development. The faculty actively conducts research that is expanding the frontiers of knowledge in the business environment.
