*Additional requirements

In order to meet the English language proficiency requirement for the above courses marked with (*), applicants are required to present one of the following:

  1. Successful completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree awarded by a recognised University in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States of America; or
  2. achieve the required result from one of the following English language proficiency tests, the test must have been undertaken within two years of application, however, they may be used for entry until the next immediate semester intake; or
    • IELTS Academic;
    • PTE Academic;
    • TOEFL iBT;
    • OET.
  3. achieve the required score in the Curtin English Language Bridging (ELB) program, with the exception for Master of Psychology and Master of Clinical Physiotherapy.

**Master of Teaching requirements

From 2020 Admission, in order to meet the English language proficiency requirement for Master of Teaching, applicants are required to present one of the following:

  1. Successful completion of at least one year full-time or equivalent of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree level study at a recognised University in Australia;
  2. successful completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree level study at a recognised University in New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, South Africa or United States of America. The duration of this degree must be at least one year full-time or equivalent study; or
  3. achieve the required result from one of the following English language proficiency tests, the test must have been undertaken within two years of application, however, they may be used for entry until the next immediate semester intake:
    • IELTS Academic;
    • PTE Academic;
    • TOEFL iBT;
    • OET;
    • Cambridge C1 Advanced.
