International applicants must satisfy the enrolment requirements and pay the fees as indicated in the Letter of Offer received from the International Office. For international students who will be undertaking their studies in Australia, upon confirmation of all fees paid the University will send a Confirmation of Enrolment. This document must be presented to the consulate in your home country in order to obtain a visa for entry into Australia.
International students will be required to pay tuition fees unless in receipt of a scholarship that covers all included fees. For further information on the higher degree by research scholarships offered, visit the Graduate Research School scholarships page.
Admission criteria for international applicants
International students will be required to have reached an appropriate level of proficiency in English to complete your research. Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds must either provide evidence of previous tertiary studies conducted in English, or have received test scores on the listed tests in excess of the minimum standards outlined in the International Office’s English language proficiency.
Please note, at the discretion of the Director of Graduate Research, you may be required to complete a bridging course in English as a condition of enrolment.
For any other enquiries related to postgraduate study, international applicants are encouraged to contact the International Office.
