Postgraduate higher degrees by research
Students are encouraged to contact Graduate Research School staff for any enquiries about their higher degree by research.
Please do not refer to the application status listed within the My Applications tab in eStudent for an update on your application status. This section is used only for coursework degree applicants and will not reflect an accurate application status for higher degree by research applications.
Higher degree by research applications are subject to several levels of review. Your application is first assessed by the relevant Enrolling Area for supervision capacity and resources to support your research, followed by Faculty review to endorse your application. This process can take at least 4-6 weeks. Once the review process is complete, you will be notified by a Curtin University staff member. Queries relating to application status may be directed to the Graduate Research School after the approximate review time frame listed above has lapsed.
